About

Introduction to Consultation

Consultation is our way of involving residents and stakeholders across Central Lancashire in the work we do when planning the future for our area, allowing you to have an input in how the plan is shaped through your opinions, site submissions or formal representations.

Call for Sites

The Call for Sites are used for suggesting sites for consideration as future development options,  To date we have held 4 calls, with the most resent undertaken alongside the Part 1 Preferred Options consultation.

Statement of Community Involvement

Please see each authority’s respective Statement of Community Involvement, which outlines how we undertake consultations and how these are publicised to ensure we reach as many people, organisations and businesses as possible:

In line with the statement of Community Involvement, for each consultation we will consult via the below channels:

Digital Notices

Each council will post notice of any consultations ion their websites and on social media channels such as Twitter and Facebook, the website is the central point of information to coincide with the consultation process and for the wider Local Plan Review thereafter.

Public Notices

Below is a list of deposit points  where we will post public notice posters and paper copies of consultation documents. These will be either on display or accessible on request behind-the-counter for a given consultation period, from open until close. If you are aware of a notice that is missing, or of a location in which notices ought to be, please contact us.
