Publication

The Central Lancashire Local Plan will move to publication stage after consultation has been undertaken and considered and all evidence collated and presented, and following the completion of the Sustainability Appraisal.

The publication stage plan will be the document that the we consider ready for examination. This Plan must be published for representations, together with other proposed submission documents, before it can be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for examination. This provides a formal opportunity for the local community and other interests to consider the Local Plan, which Central Lancashire and the respective local authorities would like to adopt. The specific publication requirements are set out at regulations 17, 19 and 35 (and 21) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.

Check our timetable for details as to when this page may be updated and for the relevant deadline for this stage of the Local Plan.
